About of WorldSkill India:

                                WorldSkills India is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship which has been leading India’s participation at WorldSkills International competitions since 2011.
     WorldSkills India is responsible for the selection, development, management and participation of Team India in WorldSkills Competitions and other international competitions.
                  WorldSkills India makes the final decision on any issues regarding every stage of the International competition journey and selection processes.


Who can participate for WorldSkills 2021 ?
                              Any skilled person born on or after 1st January 1999 could participate in any of the skills mentioned below, with the exception to Aircraft Maintenance, Manufacturing Team Challenge and Mechatronics, where the candidate should have been born on or after 1st January 1996.

Eligibility Criteria:
                            > Meet the WorldSkills eligibility criteria, competitors for Shanghai 2022 must be born on or after 1 January 1999 for all skills apart from Mechatronics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Water Technology and Information Network Cabling where competitors must be born on or after 1 January 1996..

  •                                > Candidates registered previously for IS-2020 must not register again for IS-2021 as they are already eligible to participate in IS – 2021.
  •                                > Any candidate registered earlier and eliminated before or at State Level Competition for IS - 2020 is not eligible to registered again for IS-2021.

 IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS FOR SKILL COMPETITIONS

Note:

  • Screening/Selections will be conducted by States/Sector Skill Councils.
  • All registrations received will be forwarded to respective States and Sector Skill Councils.
  • State competitions may be conducted in select trades. However, NSDC with Sector Skill Councils may conduct selections for trades not covered during state competitions and for which registrations are received.
  • Mobile Robotics, Cyber Security,Landscape Gardening,Concrete Construction work and Mechatronics are TEAM SKILL COMPETITIONS where a team of 2 individuals are required for the competition.
